Due to the federal and state-level mandates regarding social distancing, Ideal Technologies, Inc. has adopted a remote work position until further notice. This decision has been made both to fulfill the requirements outlined by Governor Northam and to meet the guidelines presented by the federal government and the CDC.

On March 23, 2020 Governor Northam issued a statewide order (Executive order 53), to protect the health and safety of Virginia residents. Part of this order was the closing of non-essential businesses and restricting the gatherings of 10 or more people. Additionally, the avoidance of non-essential travel outside the home when possible was strongly encouraged.

Due to the nature of the services provided by Ideal Technologies, we consider ourselves to be an essential business and as such we are remaining open, however, we will be only conducting remote access support unless the situation requires onsite services.

In the event onsite services are mandatory, we will contact the client to set up an appointment time, and ask that the client facilitate a work environment that is conducive to the social distancing guidelines as provided by the CDC. If such a work environment is not possible, we will require the client to provide the device for easy pickup, in which case a technician will pick up the device from the client, and perform the needed repairs offsite. When complete, the client will be notified and an appointment made for easy drop off return to the client.

Due to the increased demand for remote help services, clients may experience longer than normal wait times for support requests. During this time, we will be prioritizing level 3 and level 2 support requests. For more information or for any questions, please email your account manager directly.
